PythonCourse 2021

The document describes an applied data analysis course for geotechnics students that will teach Python programming basics. Over 8 sessions in May and June 2021, students will learn data types, control structures, functions, plotting, input/output and modules. Exercises will apply these concepts to engineering geology, tunnelling, rock mechanics and soil mechanics examples. The objective is for students to understand how Python can be used to solve geotechnical problems. Registration is by email with a maximum of 20 participants and laptops available upon request.
