What 3 targets would you like most to What can you, your cooperating teacher o

improve? improve those characteristics?
1. Creating backup plans I can make sure that I have things I can add to the unit for the
students to use as additional help or have small unit related
activities.
2. Having authority Not to feel bad about asking students to get back on track and
follow directions.
3. N/A N/A

-OVER-

Answer the following reflective questions:

1. Compare and contrast teaching several days in a row to teaching one mini lesson?
Teaching several days I slowly became more comfortable being in front of the students and felt I was getting to
know them better as individual learners and understanding each one of their needs rather than one mini lesson
it was harder to get the students attention and for them to recognize that I was the one in charge.
2. What was challenging?
Filling out all the lesson plans and making sure the students understood what was previously taught to help
them succeed the next day.
3. What was beneficial to you as a developing teacher?
Having teacher feedback and guidance.
4. What went as planned? What didn’t?
I think everything mostly went as planned except when the students and I had gotten used to the routine and
expectations then things speed up that ways it is important to have backup activities planned.
5. Reflect on this assignment and give feedback about the directions, planning documents, and reflection
pieces.
Overall, this assignment was good. I liked how was had to make lesson plans for each day because it helped me
keep track of each day and what to do.
