ABOUT NANOTECH IN ELECTRONICS :

● The term nanoelectronics refers to the use of nanotechnology in electronic components.


● These components are often only a few nanometers in size. However, the tinier
electronic components become, the harder they are to manufacture.
● Nanoelectronics covers a diverse set of devices and materials, with the common
characteristic that they are so small.
● Nanoelectronic devices have critical dimensions with a size range between 1 nm and
100 nm

NEED OF NANOTECH IN ELECTRONICS :

● Today microelectronics are used and they solve our most of the problems.
● The two exceptional disadvantages of micro electronics are -
1) Physical size.
2) Increasing cost of fabrication of integrated circuits.
● To overcomethese disadvantages nanotech can be used.
● Nanomaterials holds some answers for how we might increse the capabilities of
electronic devices while we reduce their weight and power consumption.
