Faculty : Information & Communication Technology Assignment

In accordance with Karambelkar (2015), “an Interaction Designer's job is to solve the
problems faced by users by finding the most appropriate solution for the given
scenario, context and the user persona. The solution might be a physical product or a
user manual or an app or a website. It does not matter what it is, what matters is that
it solves the problem elegantly and feels most natural to the users. It bridges the
experience gap and ideally enhances the experience to the level of 'delight'”.He
further explains that “a design of a product or a poster or an app becomes a tool to
achieve that experience. That is where an Industrial Designer, a Graphic Designer,
an UI Designer etc will come into picture. Sometimes it’s the same person doing all
these things and sometimes they are different people”.
