1. As a student, how prepared are you if the time will come that your parent will cut the financial
umbilical cord?
In my situation right now. The first thing i would do if my mother would told me to move out is that i
would get a job. Since i'm still studying i work part time or a working student. I mean i can support
myself but i still live in the house because my mother told me so. She wants someone to help her in her
small business and being the good daughter that I am, I'm here to support her. Actually I already
studied in Lupon School of Fisheries for two years and I already have more than 10 years of experience
in working for different companies. In fact, I've been in Saudi for two years and five months and when I
was there I supported my parents. And when I go back I invest my money in online business but right
now I'm not active in the business anymore but still selling health products every now and then.

My sister told me to go back to school because education nowadays is free for all. So, I decided to go
back to school to earn a degree. To answer the question how am i going to prepare if my parent will stop
supporting me financially? I'm already an independent person who can support myself, needs and
wants.

In my opinion,you are correct in your belief that parents should support their children, but you are
incorrect in the manner in which you believe they should be supporting you.Parents are absolutely to
support their children: support them emotionally and teach them to be self-sufficient.

Life is about surviving, you need to have a positive outlook in every situation because if you have a
positive mindset all things will turn out the way you plan it. You need to be a responsible person in
dealing with finances, save money, invest in things that is beneficial to you and to your family. If you
have skills, know how to do things that are worth money to other people, who either don't know how to
do them, or would rather just pay someone to do them, offer those skills up for pay.

In this life, you need to have strength to sustain life and have faith in God because everything in him is
possible. In matteo 6:33 stated that "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these
things will be given to you as well". You need to have spiritually belief because God is the provider of
everything.
