II. Rationale

In the recent health threat challenge due to COVID-19 Pandemic, the Department of
Education has reconfigured some of the component of the Results Based
Performance Management System guidelines. This is to

Master Teachers are also expected to develop and apply effective teaching strategies
to promote critical and creative thinking as well as higher ordered thinking skills to the
students. Furthermore, MTs are also expected to ensure quality learning delivery in
terms of pedagogy and content.

III. Objectives
This 4-hour day webinar is grounded by the following objectives:
1. To orient the teachers (I-III) on the new guidelines of RPMS-PPST:

1.3 Self-Assessment Tool
1.4 Performance Monitoring and Coaching Form
1.5 RPMS Objectives
1.6 Alternative Classroom Observations
1.7 Classroom Observation Tool

1.9 Self-Assessment Tool

IV. Participants
The participants that will benefit this orientation are the 58 senior high school
teachers (I-III) and 13 Master Teachers.

V. Methodology
The orientation will be handled through online via ZOOM on February 19, 2021
at exactly 8:30 AM to 12:00 NN. A personal code of the platform will be sent
directly to each of the participants. They are all expected to log in 20 minutes
before the set time. Orientation materials will be sent by the master teachers to
their respective mentees. The orientation will cover 8 topics related to the
new RPMS guidelines. Topic 1 will highlight Rationale and Legal Bases of the
RPMS-PPST, it will be followed on the discussion of the new RPMS-Cycle.
The third will revolve on the use of Self-Assessment Tool, Performance
Monitoring and Coaching (Form), RPMS Objectives and Means of Verification,
RPMS-Alternative Classroom Observation, Classroom Observation Tools and
Summary Rating will also be discussed.
The remaining time will be allotted for question and answer and post-test
examination.
An online evaluation will also be sent to the participants after the session. A
certificate will only be given after they will accomplished the evaluation.
