Tips and Troubleshooting
1. How many tracks do I need in my DAW?--> 3 Tracks :
1- for "Editor PlugIn"--> select no midi IN and OUT for the Track, select only
Midi IN and OUT in the "Editor PlugIn". (Conected with Synth)

2- for send Midi-Pattern to the Synth.

3- for Audio IN from the Synth.

1a. With Midi Thru ---> 2 Tracks:

1- for "Editor PlugIn"--> select Keyboad for midi IN , select Midi IN and
OUT in the "Editor PlugIn"and Midi Thu Setting.

2- for Audio IN from the Synth.

2. Sad smiley in"Editor PlugIn" Midi Setup:

1. You have to start first the Synth, than the "Editor PlugIn".
2. The Synth ist not conected with the Computer.

3. Error message at plugin start, PC / Windows:

Windows does not come with a native virtual MIDI driver.

You can open the Midi port only once.
If it is active in the DAW-Midi-Setup, it can not be opened again in the
"Editor Plug-In" -Setup. The "Editor PlugIn" needs its own Midi Port!

Solution: Disable the Midi port you use in the "Editor PlugIn" in your DAW Midi-
Setup!

Or use a virtuell Midi-Port:

A free software to fix the problem is:
„LoopMIDI" , developed by Tobias Erichsen, who also programmed a version of the
Network MIDI driver for Windows.

DAW and load it into the plugin again.

Tips and Troubleshooting

5. Can the editor retrieve data from the synth?

No, it can only send and receive data from the synth.

6. Can the editor send data at startup?

Yes, when the editor is started, it sends a snapshot from the last setting to the
synth.

7. The sound of the synth does not sound like the editor anymore after
starting the editor!

This is because the editor sends all knob settings to the Synth, even those
that have not been changed.
Remedy, move all the knobs of the editor briefly to hear the setting result
on the synth.

8. I can not find the "Editor Plugin" in my DAW plugin folder?

1. You copied the plug-in to the wrong folder.

2. Your system (DAW) has not adopted the editor name, but has
adopted the name of the progamation software. Then you can
find it under "Ctrlr" or "Instigator".
