The document summarizes a study that aimed to develop and test a counseling program based on self-regulation strategies to reduce rebellion among high school students. The study used a quasi-experimental design with an experimental and control group. Measures of rebellion were taken before and after the experimental group received the counseling program, which was based on teaching self-regulation skills. The results showed that the counseling program significantly reduced rebellion scores in the experimental group compared to the control group. Rebellion scores were also significantly lower after the program compared to before within the experimental group. The effects were maintained after a two month follow up period.

The results of research and studies that dealt with adolescence indicate
that this stage of growth is very critical due to its many disorders and conflicts, in
which the problem of searching for identity that may reflect the beginning of the
teenager's inability to deal with others or control himself,. It is full of problems,

element in the lives of individuals who can solve the problems facing them,
modifying their behaviors, developing confidence in themselves and their abilities,
increasing their motivation to learn, and giving them the opportunity to set goals
and plan to achieve them.
The researcher was interested in reducing the intensity of the rebellion
among high school students through a counseling program based on Self-
Regulation strategy.

Summary

The Problem of the study:

The problem of the study lies in identifying a counseling program based on
the strategy of self-regulation in reducing the intensity of the rebellion among high
school students.
Aims:
The current study aims to:
1- Preparing a counseling program based on the strategy of self-regulation in
reducing the intensity of the rebellion in secondary school students..
3- Testing the effectiveness of this program in maintaining its impact after its
completion and during the follow-up period.
Importance of the study:
It lies in the urgent need to reduce the intensity of the rebellion among
high school students using various programs, foremost of which are programs
based on Self-Regulation strategies, which have proven effective in reducing
many behavioral problems.
Procedural terms of the study:
1- Rebellion:
2- Self Regulation Strategies:
3- The Counseling Program
Hypotheses:
1- There are statistically significant differences between the average levels of
degrees of rebellion in adolescents from the secondary level in the experimental
and control groups after applying a counseling program based on the Self-
Regulation strategy.
2- There are statistically significant differences between the mean levels of
rebellion degrees for adolescents from secondary stage in the experimental group
before and after applying the Self-Regulation program.
3- There are no statistically significant differences between the average ranks of
rebellion degrees among adolescents of high school students in the experimental
group immediately after applying the Self-Regulation program and after two
months of application.

Summary

Study Methodology:
The researcher has to quasi- experimental approach of bilateral group
design(experimental and control) where the researcher used the experimental
treated materials with the experimental group.
Study tools:
In the present study, the researcher used the following tools:
1- Psychiatric Rebellion Disorder Scale (Prepared by Khalifa Al-Dhala’in, 2015).
2- Counseling Program based on Self - Regulation Strategies
Sample of the study:
The main study sample included (12) students from the secondary stage (first
secondary class) at the Martyr Ahmed Waheed Official Language Schools of the
Western Zagazig Educational Administration (Sharkia Governorate), they were
divided into two equivalent groups: the experimental group which consists of (6)
students, and the control group which also consists of (6) students.
Statistical methods:

, using the SPSS software program as follows:

- SMA - standard deviation -The simple correlation coefficient "Pearson" -
Analysis of variance (Alpha Cronbach) - Halftone Segmentation (Spearman
Brown, Gitman - A "T" test - Mann-Whitney test - Wilkson test
- Test the value of "Z"
Study Results:
(1) There are statistically significant differences in the posttest mean scores
between the experimental and control groups' in the dimensional measurement on
the scale of the rebellion and its dimensions in favor of the experimental group.
(2) There are statistically significant differences in the pre- test and postted mean
scores between the experimental group members regarding the scale rebellion and
its dimensions in favor of the postted measurement.
(3) There were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of
the members of the experimental group in the two dimensions, the traceability and
the scale of the rebellion, in favor of the traceability.
