Title: GLOBAL ISSUES THAT CONCERN SCHOOLS AND SOCIETY

1. From the cited top ten global issues and the 17 SDGs, choose one global issue/SDG and give
suggestions on what schools must do to address the issue.

From the cited top ten global issues I choose pollution and the Sustainable Development Goals for it is to
protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests,
combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss. The school can
help us address pollution. Teaching the youth to protect and care for our environment. Educating them
with the right educative programs, measures, and tools, the school managements can also sow the
seeds of responsible living in the minds of young children.

2. Go over the K to 12 Curriculum Guide. Find out where these global issues and SDGs are integrated. If
you find one or more not integrated in the K to 12 Curriculum, identify points of integration in the
curriculum.
