1 GENERAL
A.1.0 Materials and workmanship deemed necessary to complete the works, but
not specifically mentioned in the specifications, working drawing, or in other Contract
Document, shall be supplied by the Contractorwithout extra cost to the Owner. Such
materials shall be of the highest quality available, and installed or applied in a
workmanlike manner as prescribed at appropriate locations.
A.2.0 Materials and finishes for on-site improvements and facilities as listed below re
part of the Scope of Work and shall be supplies and installed by the contractor;
A.3 For soil poisoning use "Dursban Premium" mixed with potable water applied on
excavation for foundation and footing; slab on fill bed and with the area of the
proposed building and extended about one meter from the building line perimeter;
follow mixing porportion on manufacturer's label.
2 SITE WORK
Earthworks
Fill or barrow materials granular non-plastic materials, inert materials from off site
source.
Excavated materials use as back fill, approved and clean materials. Free of stones not
larger than 50mm Ø (2”Ø), roots, and organic matter.

3 CONCRETING
Cast-in Concrete: Cement - Holcim Cement of its equivalent. Use one (1) brand for
whole structural and masonry works.
Aggregates:
Gravel - clean, washed, gravel use 1 1/2 mazimun for slabs and 19mm Ø
(3/4") for columns and slabs
Sand - clean, washed
Water - foir for drinking, free from injurious amount of oil, acid, alkali,
organic materials.
Concrete Admixures:
Air-training Admixture: DAREX-AEA or approved equal to improve workablility
or durability of concrete mixes.
Integral Water Proofing Hydratite WR approved equal. (As necessary)
Concrete Bond - Drawled C or Approved equal for binding new to old concrete,
repair of cracks or bonding grout.

4 STRUCTURAL STEEL
Plates, sheets and connectors: from mild steel sheet or plate with thickness, size,
shape and design as indicated in the drawing for miscellaneous stiffener, bearing
anchorage, connector or straps.
Standard solid Sections: mild steel angles, flat bars, square bars, channels, U and
other sections. Cee-purlins for roof framing, for overhead anchorage of folding doors,
grillwork, for miscellaneous fabricated mounting brackets, scraps, dowels, framed and
connectors.
Bolt Accessories: low carbon steel with type, shape, size, threading corresponding nut
and accessories as required.
Bracing Rods: standard structural grade steel rods with turnbuckles whenever
required for footing framing.
Welding Electrodes: approved for manual shielded metal are welding as required. E-
6013 series of structural welding.
5 MASONRY
Concrete hollow blocks (C.H.B): Use 150mm (6”) and 100mm (4") thickness machine-
made C.H.B. 350 psi on exterior and interior walls as indicated in the plans. Use also
for septic vaults, catch basin and grease trap.
Reinforcing bars: bars and tie wire: See C.00 and as indicated in the plan
Mortar and Plaster Works: Consisting of scratch and finish coat, both consisting of
one (1) part Wallright cement and two (2) coat part of clean, washed sand, measured
by volume.
For all interior masonry surfaces to be painted, where called for in the drawing and
where plastering is essentials to complete the work.

Yacal species shall be used for the following specified wooden items whenever there
is a need for such item in this project;
a.) Door frames, and headers – 50 x 100mm thk. S4S kiln dried.
b.) Wood plates and shims.
c.) All wood in contact with concrete and masonry surface.
d.) Structural wood such as stair treads, use 50 x 350 mm thk. Tanguile Specie S4S Kiln
Dried. Apply with surface preparation, methods of application and density as per
manufacturer’s specifications.
7 WATER PROOFING
8 HARDWARES (DEFER)
a.) Locks and Latches – use yale brand made in U.S.A. b.) Hinges – use Stanley 4” x 4”
brass finish
c.) Locks – use yale locks for drawer and cabinet doors.
d.) Cabinets/Closet door pulls and handles – Tentori or approved equivalent
e.) Nails - use PAG-ASA brands.
f.) Wood Screws - use standard metal manufacturing co.
g.) Machine Bolts – use standard metal manufacturing co.
9 ROOFING WORKS
a.) Use Ga. no 26 Rib Type long span, pre-painted roofing sheets. Provide 6mm thk.
double sided foil P.E. insulation.
b.) Use Ga. 24 preformed, pre-painted G.I. gutter by Southern Metal Steel
Corporation (SMSC).

b.) For all conduit works use PVC conduit pipes Moldcon PNS 14 or approved
equivalent
c.) For switches and convenience outlet utility and junction boxes use Fumaco, G.I.
sheet G.A. 16 sizes and shapes as required.
d.) For switches and C.O. receptacles use flush type sockets & switches, white color:
National Wide Series brand or approved equivalent.
e.) For fluorescent lamps and ballast, use box type Philips or General Electric brands
with rapid start sound rated, high power factor ballast.

surface mounted with latch lock.
h.) Telephone Systems – Philflex, Columbia wire number 22/4c conductor telephone
jacketed wire.
i.) Permit and fees – All permits, fees, processing of MERALCO transformer
connection and other insurances shall
be the responsibility of the contractor.
j.) Guarantee and Warranty – The Contractor shall guarantee all materials supplied
and his work to be free from
factory and workmanship for a period of one year.
Any material found to be defective during this time shall be replaced by the
contractor free of charge.

a.) Use “Sanimold Extra” UPVC sanitary pipes distributed by Moldex Products
Incorporated for all soil and Waste
pipes; use PVC cement for all joints.
b.) Use 20mm (12mm inside diameter) to 25mm (19mm inside diameter) PN20 PPR
Wavin Ekoplastik or approved equivalent for hot and cold water lines & exposed
water distribution pipes.
c.) Use 75mm to 100mm Ø “Sanimold Extra” UPVC sanitary pipes for all rain
leader/downspouts.
d.) Use “Kakubai” (Japan) brand steel floor drain with size as specified on drawing.
O.S.M.
e.) For drainage pipes use 50mm to 100mm Ø. “Moldex” HDPE pipes and concrete
hollow block catch basins as
shown on plans and drawings.

Permit and fees – All permits, fees, processing of MAYNILAD connection and other
insurances shall be the
responsibility of the contractor.
Any discrepancies or clarification that needs final resolution shall be brought to the
attention of the Architect and Master Plumber.
All devices and layout shown on the plan shall be installed. The Owner will not
entertain extra work orders, so it shall be the duty of the contractor to clarify with the
architect or the Master Plumber the items of work prior to acceptance of the work
order.
