Shreerock mineral wool slabs are made from processed silicious rocks that are formed into fibers. The slabs have a density of 64 kg/m3, can withstand temperatures up to 400°C, and have a thermal conductivity between 0.043 and 0.064 W/(m.K) depending on temperature. The slabs absorb less than 2% moisture, are non-combustible, and resist vibration and impact settlement. They also provide noise reduction and have less than 2% linear shrinkage after heating.
