CHAPTER 1
Introduction
On a daily basis, you need to participate in sports for a healthy lifestyle. The Sports Event
Management Platform for colleges objective is to provide which manages the activity of many
sports at a time. It also manages the selection activity of college student and to state level. The
college students will consume less amount of time when compared to manual paper work
through the automated system. The system will take care of all the servicing activity
immediately.
Background of the Study
The purpose of this research is to provide and organize how system manages the sports activities
in android phones. This research brings the entire manual process of sports event online which is
built using android phones.
Objective of the Study
Following are the objectives of the study:
Overcomes the dependency of a single person handling all the sport activity.
Multiple teacher can use the web interface to login and perform the desired task.
Easy results generation and view rankings.
Significance of the Study
The sports management platform for colleges processing and decreases the amount of time spent
when compared to manual paper work through the automated system or to android phones,
providing information and then manage system regarding sport event of the college.
Scope and Delimitation
Scope

providing information and the management system regarding sport event of the university.
Delimitation
The helps in saving a lot of time as it becomes easy to access information on various sports
events happening in colleges. It provides access to multiple users or to the students register from
anywhere and anytime.
Conceptual Framework
The conceptual framework of this sports events management platform for colleges was based
on the following: It will consist of three elements; Input, process and the output. These three
aspects will be discussed in detail, which will help the reader or user on the outcome of the
study. This framework serves as a guide and information on how to use the equipment which is
recommended in the conduct of the survey.
These are the things needed to develop a study of a sports events management platform
for colleges. To achieve the objectives, to provide and organize how system manages the sports
activities in android phones.

Sports- an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes
against another or others for entertainment.
Event- a sports that happens, especially one of importance.
Management- planning, organizing, directing and controlling a sports event.
Platform- the declared policy about sports event management.
Healthy Lifestyle- helps to keep and improve people's health and well-being.
State Level- is district versus district match on the other hand National level matches is
conducted by players coming from different states.
Automated System- is a combination of both software and hardware which is designed and
programmed to work automatically without the need of any human operator to provide inputs
and instructions for each operation.
Web Interface- the interaction between a user and software running on a Web server.
Multiple Users- more than one student who uses the app.
Internet- the wifi connection to run the app.
Adobe Photoshop- the editor to create the app.
Android Phone- the medium to use in order to run the app.
Architectural Prototype- is primarily a learning and communication vehicle used to explore
and experiment with alternative architectural styles, features, and patterns in order to balance
different architectural qualities.
Development Plan- is the process of creating an action plan based on awareness, values,
reflection, goal-setting and planning for app development.
Design- the creative appearance of the app.
Coding Details- the codes that will input to create the app.
