Digital Telecommunication (TN 320) Digital Modulation Tutorial 4

This document discusses digital modulation techniques including binary FSK, BPSK, ASK, and PSK. It provides examples of calculating the average carrier power, minimum channel bandwidth, and average probability of error for binary data transmitted over an AWGN channel using these modulation schemes. Parameters like data rate, noise power spectral density, signal amplitude, and bit energy are given. Readers are asked to determine values like required carrier power, probability of error, and minimum received signal amplitude for coherent and non-coherent detection.
