General Overview of Delivery in T24
The Delivery System manages the flow of all messages from T24, such as
confirmations, payments and advices whilst giving users full control over formatting and
language of presentation.
In most applications, Messages are generated automatically as soon as contract entry
is complete or when a scheduled diary event occurs.
In applications like Trade Finance, Guarantees etc, Soft Delivery option has been
enabled. This allows the users to define which messages are to be generated under
each stage of input. It also permits the users at the input stage, preview the messages
and make corrections, if necessary and also to decide whether a message is to be sent
or not, the address to which it is to be sent and the carrier via which a message is to be
sent.
All messages may be either printed or sent via electronic carrier systems such as SWIFT.
Although the Delivery process is fully automated, users may take control over many
aspects of message management and can hold or re-route messages if required.
Delivery Messages in Model Bank
Model Bank supports most of the SWIFT Messages. Various Print Messages have also
been set up in each Module such as Debit or Credit Advices to Customer, Draft Printing
etc. While SWIFT Messages have been validated as per SWIFT format and
requirements, the PRINT messages may be modified as per User requirement.
SWIFT Messages in Model Bank
In most Menus, separate screens have been provided for various SWIFT Messages
showing the related tag names and the field names therein, to facilitate input and
checking of details before committing a record. ‘Preview’ option is also available in
certain modules like LETTER.OF.CREDIT, GUARANTEES etc which enable the user to
‘preview’ the messages triggered and make necessary corrections if any, before
committing.
Listed below are Menu-wise sample SWIFT messages in Model Bank. The details of
Fields to be input for the SWIFT Tags, are available in the respective User Guides and
the same can be referred for guidance. All messages covered in the Universal Model
bank are listed here. The Security and private banking related ones will be added once
the PMB is ready.
