SPECIAL PENAL LAWS SYLLABUS

Professor

Course Coverage: The course covers the discussion on the special penal laws included in the
bar examination syllabus for criminal law. The study focuses on the punishable acts punished
under each special penal law including relevant Supreme Court decisions interpreting various
concepts of these laws.

Course Learning Outcome: At the end of this course, it is expected that all students enrolled in
this course will be equipped with knowledge in criminal law to prepare them for the bar
examinations.

Course Policies : All students enrolled in this course are expected to participate in online
activities, whether synchronous or asynchronous. They are enjoined to study the assignments
and the cases to be given to them. In this connection, all are directed to log in the prescribed
platform (Google meet or Zoom). In attending online classes, they are expected to observe
online meetings’ etiquette, intellectual and academic honesty at all times. Other policies will be
given from time to time during the rest of the term.

Medium of Instruction : Online classes shall be used for the entire duration of the term.
