Therefore, use technology wisely for the common good.

Issue Your Claim/Stand Supporting Evidence
Has COVID-19 pandemic COVID-19 pandemic changed Because of this pandemic, many
changed the world for its best or the world for its worst. of us may find it soothing,
for its worst? because we're just sitting at
home. Yet several ghosts have
since invaded the lives of
children and adults. Examples
include anxiety, depression and
stress for both teens and adults.
For eg, the causes of this are
pressure. Pressure within your
home, school or even job.
Government issues are also
adding up during this time of
pandemic.
In my own humble opinion,
online learning is not effective

my experience, I prefer face to

such dumb motives as crushes,

really allows me to acquire
knowledge and really to learn.

Activity 2
Effectiveness of Online Learning to Students
Online learning, or simulated classes delivered on the Internet, is in contrast to conventional
courses in the brick-and-mortar classroom. It is the latest trend of distance education that started in the
mid-1990s with the spread of the Internet and the World Wide Web. Learner experience is usually
asynchronous, but can also contain synchronous components. The vast majority of institutions use the
Learning Management System to handle online classes. As distance learning ideas develop, emerging
tools that help learning and pedagogy have begin to transform.
The times have dictated school closings and the rapid expansion of online education. Can
online lessons replace in-school time? One of the top disadvantages of online learning is the limited
technology since it is the most important tool this time. Not everyone has the privilege and
accessibility to many technologies that are needed in this type of learning. We also don’t have fast
internet that is needed in learning the lessons online or being able to communicate with your subject
teacher about these lessons. Second are the students. We are not really sure if the students are truly
learning or just surviving. Are they learning something new? Or are they just merely breathing? Do
they really acquire the knowledge and the thought that are presented in the modules? In my honest
opinion, I, myself really finds this learning difficult not just to understand but to truly engulf the
lessons to my mind and apply it to my daily life.
Therefore I conclude, that my stand in this issue is that online learning is not that effective.
The solution for this issue may be impossible for now which is bringing back the face-to-face learning
method not just typically learn but to actually apply these lessons in real life and learn something that
we may carry until the day we die. We want to learn not just for our family but for ourselves. We
want to enter this new chapter of our lives as college students with loads of information that is planted
in our minds just like when we were in school. We don’t just want to pass, we want to learn.
