How Did Globalization Affect The Life of People?

Globalization has both positive and negative effects on people's lives and the environment. It has improved standards of living in developing nations through increased infrastructure development, healthcare access, and education levels due to corporate expansion. However, increased consumption has also placed stress on the environment and transportation of goods globally. Millennials value freedom and access to information, which can cause friction with parents who want to protect their children and preserve traditions. Both sides must find understanding and compromise by respecting each other's perspectives while ensuring rules teach responsibility. Social media has greatly increased access to information for younger generations.

1. How did Globalization affect the life of people?

In many instances, quality of life has improved for those who live in developing nations.

For many developing nations, globalization has led to an improvement in standard of
living through improved roads and transportation, improved health care, and improved
education due to the global expansion of corporations.

2. How does economic globalization affect the environment?

Also Increased consumption leads to an increase in the production of goods, which in

turn puts stress on the environment. Globalization has also led to an increase in the
transportation of raw materials and food from one place to another. Also
globalization decreases the cost of manufacturing. This means that companies can offer
goods at a lower price to consumers. The average cost of goods is a key aspect that
contributes to increases in the standard of living. Consumers also have access to a wider
variety of goods.

3. What are the issues that cause frictions between Fillennials and their parents? How
can we resolve these frictions?

Millennials or Fillennials were the first generation to feel and have the impact of access.
They are the generation who had access to the world’s information and felt the impact of
access which resulted to different perspectives, expectations, behaviors, and personalities.
It changes how millennials learn, socialize, travel, communicate, entertain themselves
and others, network, and do business. Due to these changes moral frictions between the
millennial or filinnials and their parents can arise. The first issue that can cause moral
friction would be the amount of time the millennials/filennials spend online specifically
social media. Our parents want us to spent less time online and more time doing
recreational activities since they know that too much time online is not good for us
however millennials want freedom in a way that they can do what they want. Parents seek
to safeguard their youngsters from the hazards of the society, and that they are aware of
due to their maturity and life experience. Fillennials desire to be self-sufficient and to do
things on their personal way. They believe they are happier when they are free to
discover things. Respect the youth for their desire for change, it is their responsibility.
Respect the elders' desire to preserve our traditions to come together in the center.
However, I think it is still the best thing to do was to enforce the parents’ rules while also
ensuring that their children knew why they were in place. Must pay attention to children
and be open to adjust their views to persuade and show responsibility. The goal is for the
kids to grow up to be self-sufficient and responsible individuals who would do the right
thing because they understand why it's important.

4. How has social media changed the lives of people in your generation?

I think the main thing that the social media change is the information that it had offer.
There were so many things that we access to and information’s were easily come by that
within the few seconds we can already know even though it came from other countries.
And that was very valuable especially those facts and useful information.
