I have not been debarred from appearing at any examination held by any Government constituted or statutory

occurred to my life during the tenure of the course, the College authority will not held responsible. The

 UNDERTAKING
Anti-Ragging Rules
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the premises of the college / department /
classroom as well as on outside. Hon’ble Supreme Court of India has banned ragging. Ragging includes
individual or collective acts or practices that involve any type of assault or threat or use of physical
force, which violate the status, dignity and honor of any student. If anybody is found indulging in such
kind of activities, strict action will be taken irrespective of the extent.
In order to prevent such activity in campus, several committees have been formed and brought
into operation even before the start of 1st year classes by the Director / Principal. Any individual or
group of individuals who indulge in an act or practice or ragging constitutes gross indiscipline and such
individual / groups shall be dealt with as per the ordinance.
Student shall not:
 Violate the status, dignity and honor of any students and / or teachers.
 Violate the status, dignity and honor of SC and ST Student.
 Expose students to ridicule and contempt there by affecting their self-esteem.
 Entail verbal abuse and aggression, indecent gestures, obscene behavior etc.
The Principal / the Anti-Ragging Committee shall take immediate action on any information of the occurrence of ragging.

IMPORTANT RULES & REGULATION

 Processing fee to be paid by ONLINE or DD from Nationalized Bank in favour of the Principal,
BVDU College of Physical Education, payable at Pune during first time admission. In the
beginning of the session, Tuition fee in full for every year is also to be paid by a DD only.

 Apart from tuition fee, charges for track-suit, sports uniforms, sport kit, educational tour, camp
are to be paid extra (see rules of processing fee and other fees displayed in prospectus).

 Application (duly filled) to be sent either by ONLINE (www.bvuphysicaleducation.com) or by

registered post to the Principal, BVD University College of Physical Education, Dhankawadi,
Pune-Satara Road, Pune-411 043 (Maharashtra), India.

 A student needs to bring original qualifying certificates, 1st year’s tuition fee, bag & baggage,
hostel fee etc during admission test or Central Entrance Test (CET) to be conducted in July
every year. Get exact date on phone (020-24373741).

 A student must submit Transfer Certificate or College leaving Certificate and Migration
within 3 months of admission. Attendance in theory (85%) and practical (90%) is compulsory.
Less attendance will disqualify to fill exam form. If attendance is 85% for theory and 90% for
practical, no fine will be charged. If one’s attendance ranges from 75% to 84% (without
permission from the Principal), he or she shall be charged fine as per rules. If attendance is 74%
and less, he or she will not be allowed to fill examination form resulting in to a Year-Drop.

 After admission is over – 1) the College opens and regular class starts during 2nd week of July,
2) Semester examination held during November (before Diwali vacation), 3) After Diwali
vacation, the College re-opens during December, and 4) Final examination of the academic year
held during April every year. The students must visit College Notice Board every day.

 The continuing students promoted to next new academic session shall have to fill up newly
prescribed admission form (available in College office) along with 500/- (re-admission fee), last
semesters’ certificate, tuition fee in full for the new academic session within 30th June.

 Dress Code: Every Wednesday during theory classes, students will compulsorily wear Codified
Dress viz., Black full pant, White Shirt, Black Shoes, Black tie.

 Leave rule: A student’s attendance of 70% is a must. After attaining 70% attendance, the
students may be allowed to take 10% leave (apart from vacation) with prior permission from the
Principal. The student shall apply through the prescribed leave application form is available in
the College. If any student avails this 10% leave without prior permission of the Principal, a fine
as per rule will be charged.

 A student must remain present on the closing day and opening day of the College, Independence
Day, Republic day, Intramural day and sports day. If any student is found absent on these days, a
fine as per rule will be charged – please note.
