PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
I have transformed the company from sales office in Egypt into prominent Business and service center with market share
over 90% of the Egyptian market and multimillion dollars turnover. Managed the company’s supply chain system which
included customer orders, international and local material purchasing, material manufacturing, strategic outsourcing, free
zone warehousing, inventory management, logistics, shipping to customers and end by installing and service processes
inside the customer oilfield. I have taken the following responsibilities:
1. Set and managed the business plan and business objectives and targets and KPIs to measure the
performance against the overall corporate strategy throughout the supply chain system.
2. Strategic planning to identify the opportunities and threats in addition to the analysis of microeconomic
and macroeconomic factors in the Egyptian and Middle Eastern oilfield markets.
3. Participated in, market survey, market intelligence, market analysis in oilfield market in Egypt and Middle
East. This process caused dramatic change in the market share of the company from 30% to more than 90%
during the period from 2008- 2011.
4. I have introduced strategic change and improvement in all the company’s business processes and
performance and attended all global meetings in the USA that lead to the acquisition of the company by GE
oil and gas. I have also participated I the integration activities.
5. Marketing and sales planning of the identified target market of artificial lift in Egypt and Middle East. The
major market share in Egypt is beam pumping units, PCP, ESP and plunger lifts.
6. Implemented formal tender and contract management system to improve proposal win rate from base line
20 % to target 80%. Involved in contract review and contract negotiations with customers and suppliers.
7. Provided technical and managerial training for all the operation staff directly in contact with customers.
8. Representing the company in business and technical conferences with contractors in Egypt, Oman, Dubai
and United States and worked with Marketing and Engineering on new product development.
9. Involved in financial analysis and financial planning of new projects and tenders of the operations and
service performance and issued the operations financial indicators and ratios to demonstrate the financial
and economic efficiency of orders. I am also responsible for the representation of the results in the board

12. Achieved high margin and high ROI through strategic business Alliance with Petrojet ( state owned company
for oil and gas projects) for manufacturing 80% of beam pumping unit in Egypt, which resulted in reduced
product cost by 30%, reduced order delivery lead time by 10% and reduced order cycle time by 15%
13. I have led the process of integrating the supplier with GE process through reviewing and integrating
engineering drawings, Petrojet quality level, EHS system and logistics system and verification process in
Egypt and USA.
14. Reduced 30 % of the transportation and logistics costs by partnership with approved vehicle, forklifts, trailers
and crane suppliers. Application of EHS system on all contracted vehicles, cranes, and warehousing
processes.
15. I have implemented Lufkin Middle East and GE oil and gas integrated QEHS management system according
to ISO 9001:2008, 2015, ISO 14001:2004, 20015, ISO 29001, and OHSAS 18001:2008 which constitute
competitive advantage in oil service companies.
16. Won the largest tender in Lufkin and GE history of delivery, installation, operations and maintenance of
Sucker rod pumps and PCP for 15 years in Oman PDO oilfields.
17. Achieved the highest market share in the Egyptian market with a ratio of 95% through providing high level
customer support by a carefully selected service team.
International Engineering union is a local Egyptian company for manufacturing and distribution of processed
injection products in addition to raw material distribution from different sources I have been recruited as
General Manager of IEU to establish the sales and technical department for PE, PP and PV injected products,
petrochemicals, additives, master batches.
1. Led the startup entry into Middle East Market by performing a gap analysis, strategic analysis, market
research to identify the market’s needs, and developing an innovative promotion method that could be used
for multiple applications within the plastic processing companies.
