The Tourism Road Infrastructure Program is aligned with


the strategic direction of National Tourism Development
Plan to improve access and connectivity to tourism
gateways, service centers and tourism sites.

A total of PhP 121 billion was allocated from 2016 to Pasacao-Balatan Tourism Coastal Road Boracay Circumferential Road

2021 for the construction, improvement and upgrading


of about 4,268 km of roads leading to declared tourism
destinations.

In November 2016, the ROLL-IT Program was
developed to create and enhance industry-developing
infrastructure in priority economic and manufacturing
zones in support of the Export Development Act, the
SME Act, and the Comprehensive National Industrial Brgy. Imbang Grande to Brgy. Punong Road, Passi City, Iloilo, Jct. (LIR) Mahayag Danao Road, San Miguel, Bohol,
Strategy.

From 2018 to 2021, a total of PhP 42 billion has been


appropriated for the construction and upgrading of about
1,519 km access roads leading to industries and trade
corridors across the country.

The Sucat-Alabang Skyway Extension Project is a 3- Alabang-Sucat Skyway
lane additional carriageway parallel to the existing
viaduct alignment. The northbound expansion will Connection and Ramp Extension
start from the midpoint of Susana Heights and
Mandarin Overpass and will end at the existing ramp
leading to the Skyway near Sucat Interchange with a
total length of 3.993 km. The southbound expansion,
also a 3-lane additional carriageway, will stretch
almost parallel to the northbound alignment with a
total length of 3.773 km

Reduce travel time by around 50%, as motorists will be


diverted from the at-grade segment of the Skyway to
the elevated link for motorists who intend to go
directly to and from SLEX and vice versa.
