Only plan earlier exit TWYs, if it is certain that the ACFT can turn off safely.
Pilots are requested to plan and name the expected exit TWY during the approach
briefing (cockpit). If it becomes apparent that turning off via the planned exit
TWY is not possible, ATC shall be informed as soon as possible.
If the pilot realizes that the planned exit TWY will be missed, the pilot is
requested to adjust his taxi speed so that he can turn off the RWY via the next
exit TWY without delay.
Pilots are requested to vacate the RWY as quickly as possible so that RWY occu-
pancy times can be kept to a minimum.
The MVA is the lowest altitude which may be used for RADAR vectors for IFR flights taking
into account the minimum safe height (1000' above the highest obstacle within a radius of 8 km)
and airspace structure (lower limit of the controlled airspace plus a buffer of 500'). Below the
MVA, IFR flights will normally be cleared on published IFR procedures only. Altitudes in
brackets apply for the period from AIRAC date in November until AIRAC date in March in order
to meet required obstacle clearance at cold temperatures.

Construction work will take place in the southern part of ACFT stands 40 thru 46. During the
construction work, the following restrictions and changes will apply:
Between ACFT stands 40 thru 46, TWY M will be relocated to the north. At the same time, the use of
the affected part of TWY M will be restricted to ACFT up to MAX code letter C. Ground markings
will show the affected area. The part of TWY M that will be relocated to the north will not be
equipped with TWY centreline lighting.
As part of the construction work, the northern part of the present TWY I as well as the transition
from TWY O to TWY M at the western end of the apron will be straightened and they are assigned the
new TWY designations L2 and L3.
The present ACFT stands 40 thru 46 will no longer exist. Six new push-back ACFT stands will be
established in this area with the designations 41, 42, 44, 45, 46 and 47. These new ACFT stands
may only be used by ACFT up to MAX code letter C.
Unusable portions of TWYs and ACFT stands will either have their normal markings removed or be
marked with "X". The entire construction area will be marked/lighted during the day and at night.
ACFT entering ACFT stands 9 thru 17 shall use minimum engine thrust. Cross-bleed start-ups are not
permitted at ACFT stands 9 thru 17.
In unfavourable meteorological conditions (dry and windy), the large-scale construction work may
cause visible accumulations of dust. The airport operator will take preventive measures to keep
this at a minimum.
During the set-up and dismantling of the construction site, ground traffic may be subject to
temporary restrictions and changes.

Jeppesen charted take-off minimums are determined according to the available RWY lights. In Germany, Low Visibility Procedures
(LVP) are only available for the following airports: EDDB, EDDC, EDDE, EDDF, EDDG, EDDH, EDDK, EDDL, EDDM, EDDN,
EDDP, EDDR, EDDS, EDDT, EDDV, EDDW, EDFH, EDLN, EDLP, EDLV, EDLW, EDMA, EDNY, EDQM, EDSB, EDTY, EDVE
and EDVK. All other German airports are not approved for Low Visibility Take-off Operations (LVTO) with an RVR below 400m
because of missing LVP.
The following Take-off minima according to Commission Regulation No. 965/2012 (EASA Air Operations Regulation) are
applicable for Low Visibility Take-off Operations within Germany for CAT ABCD aircraft. RVR below 150m can only be used for
selected runways which are already specified on current Jeppesen charts. 1. With RL and RCLM during day or with RL or CL
during night: RVR 300m 2. With RL andCL: RVR 200m 3. With RL and CL and TDZ, MID and RO RVR: RVR 150m 4. With HIRL
