Calculation Purpose

The document summarizes the design steps for treating waste streams from multiple plants in a pyrolysis and combustion chamber (PCC). Solid waste of 300 kg/hr with a calorific value of 1500 kcal/kg and aqueous waste of 108 kg/hr with a calorific value of 5190 kcal/kg will be fed into the PCC. The total heat required is 0.441765405 megakcal/hr which can be met by the heat released from combustion of the wastes. Air requirements for solid waste is 821 kg/hr and for aqueous waste is 1080 kg/hr.
