How could a kid put a stop bullying at the school?

One kid against a bunch of bullies might actually caused bigger issue or worse jeopardize the
kid’s safety.as parents and teachers or responsible adults, this question needs to be taken
seriously. What should your kid or your student or your little brother/sister do if there is bullying
going on?
Well…the shortcut people tend to take is either:
Pretend that you did not see it under the philosophy of “mind your own business”, therefore you
become the bystander. You probably dodged the problem, true, but only for that moment. It is
going to be another day that it is your time to get your turn. And when you choose to avoid the
bullying does not mean it solve the problem.
Stop the bullying like in the movies by acting as the hero who saves the day. Yes, if you have all
resources to do so. But by butting in someone else’s issue definitely will make you the next
target. Not all issues can be solved with your muscle or by you yourself. Dealing with the bullies
need lots of help. Do not think that someone can do this alone, especially if this is a kid. So these
are some of the things that I thought to my students regarding bullying. Say “NO”, “DON’T” or
“STOP” to the bully. Kids need to learn to be brave and stand up for themselves. Try to talk it
out first. Don’t rush into muscle action. As much as possible avoid violence contact and avoid
provoking words exchange. This will teach them about conflict-management. Immediately find a
teacher or parents or guardian who responsible for the kids. Involving an adult is a must.
Report the issue to the form teacher, school counselor or disciplinary team in school. A good
school is supposed to be prepared for this.Always report or inform the issue to the parents If the
problem is solved or settled, the kids need to learn to let go of the past (forgiveness) and not
bringing it up again to allow the parties who had the conflict to cooling down and find peace for
themselves.
I always teach all my students to always be open up to the teachers and parents. Kids need to
always involve the trusted adults (teacher, parents or guardian), no matter the bullying is done
toward them or their peers. This is something that needs to be taught to all kids since early age.
So far, most of my students did this since we all on the same page, therefore we can help control
the conflicts among students before it escalates into bullying.

How do you read critically?
1.Determine the purpose of the writer?
The aim of the writer is to provide an argument for how a child can stop bullying at
school. bullying often occurs at school and it happens one child against a group of bullies is very
difficult to help because maybe if help will be the next target of bullying.therefore the need for
involvement of parents, teachers and adults is very important. It is also necessary for children to
say NO and DON'T to the perpetrators of bullying. children need to learn to encourage
themselves to defend themselves. need to immediately report to the teacher or parent so there is
no violence.
2.Is it just to inform?
Of course this argument provides information and solutions for children who feel bullied
at school. Gives motivation to be more courageous to defend themselves. where if bullying
occurs it is necessary and must report to parents and teachers.
3.Who is the author? Are they the experts in this topic? Recognize bias. Is the article/book
written in favor of one party?
Syelly Tuhumury is Counselor and Dancer.she is a certified School Counselor with
Psychology background & I was a professional dancer. In psychology, my area of understanding
is Counseling, Cyber-Psychology, Family Psychology, Bullying, Sex-Education, Home-Room
programs in school, Gender-Psychology, Advertising Psychology, Cross-cultural Psychology,
and Marketing Research.she area of knowledge are:

4. How does the author support their arguments? Do they support their arguments with facts or is
it just speculation or opinion?
The fact because she sertified School Counselor with Psychology she always teach all
students to always be open up to the teachers and parents. Kids need to always involve the
trusted adults (teacher, parents or guardian), no matter the bullying is done toward them or their
peers. This is something that needs to be taught to all kids since early age. So far, most of
students did this since we all on the same page, therefore we can help control the conflicts among
students before it escalates into bullying.
5. Is the argument logical or follow a logical thinking pattern?
It is logical because where he is a counselor at school is certainly very familiar with the
character of children and experts in solutions to problems that are happening. At school bullying
often occurs and it is also very difficult to find solutions for children who are bullied.
6. Do you agree with what the author says?
I agree with the author because bullying is indeed a problem that often occurs at school
and it happens by children. The solution given by Outhor is a good solution A child must
immediately report to an older party so that there is no violence and a child must be more
courageous yourself to defend yourself.
