    1. Menstrual flow might occur every 21 to 35 days and usually last two to seven days.

    2. At the first 14 days in the menstrual cycle, a sudden surge in luteinizing hormone causes the ovary to
    release its egg. The egg begins its five-day travel through a narrow, hollow structure called the fallopian
    tube to the uterus. The FSH and LH increases its level during the ovulation period.

    3. If fertilization occurs he egg travels down the fallopian tube toward the womb, or uterus, where it will
    implant in the uterine wall. While the egg takes several days to travel down the fallopian tube into the
    uterus. After it is in the uterus, a fertilized egg usually attaches to the lining of the uterus.

    4. Implantation takes place after fertilization.
