Digital Literacy Skills

There are totally FOUR tools you

need to do ‘homework’.
1. Gmail
2. Google Drive
3. Google Docs
4. Google Sheets
Gmail
Gmail
● Appropriate for announcement and letter
plus documents files and links
● In ‘’To’’ session, you should add at most 5
gmail accounts.
● If you have more than that, you’d better go
to “Cc” session below “To” and add the
accounts there.
● If you use “Bcc” session, the other accounts
from “TO” or “Cc’’ cannot see the ones from
“Bcc”.
● Sending time is short and you can store the
important messages safely
Google Drive

● Cloud storage service

● Its main purpose is to expand your ability to store files beyond the limits of your hard drive.
● Google Drive can store any kind of file: photos, videos, .pdfs, Microsoft Office files — anything.
● One of the nice things about Google Drive is that it lets you preview filets from within the browser
without having to download them.
● With a Google Account, you get 15 GB of storage for free. Storage gets used by Google Drive, Gmail, and
Google Photos, so you can store files, save your email attachments, and back up photos and videos.
