This document provides instructions for downloading and installing CompBase or PaveComp software and obtaining a serial number. It involves: 1. Downloading the software from a website and agreeing to terms. 2. Installing the software and inputting the serial number received via email. 3. Exchanging the initial code A for a code B on the website by inputting personal details. 4. Inputting code B into the software to activate it.

Instructions for downloading CompBase and PaveComp from internet

1. Go into http://www.ihcc.nu

2. Select CompBase or PaveComp

3. Read the Disclaimer and legal notice and select agree or disagree. If you disagree the
download process is aborted.

4. Fill in all information, at least all mandatory. Select OK and continue. If you select
Cancel the download process is aborted.

5. Select Download and the download starts.

6. Select Save to the computer. (This window depends from different Windows
versions). The download can take some time depending on the transfer rate.
CompBase (21 MB) and PaveComp (16 MB).

7. After the download is finished, select successful or failed. If you do not do this
selection it could be a problem to get the serial number via e-mail.

8. Finally Logout.

After the procedure above we will send you a serial number, it can sometimes take a couple of
days due to weekend etc.

When you have got the serial number follow the following procedure:

1. Install the program, follow the installation procedure.

Accept or change destination folder.

2. Start the program, a code A appear. Fill in your serial number for use at upgrading.

3. Go to …

NOTE! Do not close Your program (CompBase or PaveComp) while retrieving

Your Code B. Doing so will disable further use of Your present Code A.

3. Go into http://www.ihcc.nu

4. Fill in your serial number.

5. Read the Disclaimer and legal notice and select agree or disagree. If you disagree the
code exchange process is aborted.

6. Check if your name, address etc. are correct. Change if not ok. Select OK, if you select
Cancel the code exchange will be aborted.

7. Write in your code A.

8. Select OK, if you select Cancel the code exchange will be aborted.

9. A code B will appear.

10. Write in the code B in the program and select Continue. The program is running.

11. Select Continue on the internet site if the code exchange was successful. If the code
exchange was not successful select unsuccessful and you will get another try.

For some windows versions you install the program in administration user. Do not start the
program in administration user. Start the program and execute the code exchange in your own
user.
