COMPUTER LABORATORY ACTIVITY #3
Application Software (Spreadsheet)

I. Objective:
After completing this exercise, the students should be able to create an
application related to the field of engineering using application software
(spreadsheet).

II. Procedure:
1. Open the MS Excel.
2. Design and create an innovative, practical, and advanced Excel spreadsheet to
benefit yourself.
3. Your spreadsheet should meet ALL the following requirements:
 Include your last name and first name somewhere in the spreadsheet.
 Be original and creative.
 Use the most advanced Excel functions, formulas, and capabilities covered
in this course.
 Your project should be user-friendly.
4. Label and format the worksheet tabs appropriately. Clean up the workbook and
make it look sharp.
5. Create a video explaining your assignment and some of the advanced functions
used. No more than 3 minutes, please! Your video should include yourself
(speaking in view of the camera) and a screenshare of your workbook.
6. Save your files to Google Drive or YouTube.
7. Attach the URL of the following in the LMS:
a. Your custom Excel workbook
b. Your video presentation.
