Primary Activities:

Inbound Logistics

Coca Cola has been supplied with large scale of tens of thousands of farmers and
suppliers. They were treated as associates of the company. These suppliers provide raw
materials, including components, containers, and equipment s as well as goods and services to
the organization. One of the main ingredients is water in all products of the Coca Cola Company
and the company often faces significant difficulties in sourcing this particular raw material. They
were known for their product due to high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) content and this raw
material is imported and transported by trucks from US manufacturers. Moreover, Coca-cola
has imposed guidelines and principle where the manufacturers and suppliers are required to
comply with all applicable legislation. The environmental and corporate activities are
emphasized a s recommended in the company. It has managed an outstanding relationship with
its vendors which helps maintain a steady and constant supply of raw materials.

Operations

Coca- cola as a multi-national company is known globally and operates on local basis.
The operations of Coca-cola involves with concentrating on development and all managerial
tasks of the headquarters. Its machine run through many outlets but does not manufactured its
own bottle. Instead they have bottling partners; the company only developed beverage bases
and syrups that is marketed. The company manages the brand and is responsible for the
marketing campaigns of the consumer brand.

Outbound Logistics
Since they managed outstanding relationship with vendors as their clients which include
grocery shops, hotels, street stalls convenience store, cinemas and theme parks. This section of
value chain is consisting of bottling partners and dealers of Coca Cola Company. This produce,
package, merchandise and distributes the finished goods to the customers and distribution
partners. Then the sale partners will advertise the items to the consumers and buyers. Coca
Cola's bottling partners are working with consumers to introduce localized strategies developed
in collaboration with the Coca Cola brand.

Sales and Marketing

Coca Cola is a globally popular brand, especially in the Philippines as “Coke”. Coca Cola
provide recognizable logo that makes them stand out. They also have their print ads and
billboard advertisements along with new channel and social media for the promotion of their
brand and products. Its products are sold in over 200 countries around the world. Coca Cola
goods can be seen everywhere decorating the shelves from convenience stores to restaurants
and theaters.

After sales/Service

Unlike any company who communicate directly. Coca Cola Company keeps their
customer service through online chat together with virtual agent who accompanies the
customer. The Coca Cola website has a detailed FAQ describing certain facets of their products
in depth, and the website also discusses a wide range of direct and indirect gossip related to the
brand.

In the business industry location is important to increase its growth. The company of
Coca Cola has managed to invest a large framework this includes management, human
resources, financial and technological infrastructure through its R&D centers and emphasizes
on innovation.
