The major factor for industries to invest towards I.T. companies is because
of the nature of investment it requires. Despite the fact that it requires huge
investment at the initial stage to commercialize the product, I.T. companies

CHAPTER FOUR
CHAPTER FOUR
4.1 Background
The Bachelor in Business Administration program usually includes general business courses and
advance courses for specific concentrations. The degree is conferred upon a student after four
years of full time study. The main objectives of this report is to present the observation made of
an organization during Two months / 8 weeks of Internship program conducted in an analyze the
collected information using an effective methodology. The purpose of this program is to acquaint
15
the students with practical applications of theoretical concepts taught to them during the BBA
program and also to enhance knowledge and understanding to the course. Being intern is partial
fulfillment of BBA course; intern was convinced of quality rather than quantity. So better
learning and practical knowledge intern choose rather small company big brand i.e. bank, trading
house, advertising agency etc. although intern had an opportunity to intern in required company.
During internship period I have worked in Operating Department of Wolves Tech Nepal. During
the Internship period I also got an opportunity to work as a website operator of Wolves Fixture
created by Wolves Tech Nepal. During the period of time I got involved in many sector of
Wolves Tech Nepal as Marketing, Operation, Client handling and Social media handling. I have
gained overall knowledge about esports, esports event organizing, social media handling,
Website Update and so on. According to the present context esports is booming in Nepal so
Wolves Tech Nepal created a website Wolves Fixture. Wolves Fixture is created to promote
Nepalese gaming community which will benefit competitive Nepali gamers and tournament
organizers in various ways. Wolves Fixture is also the first Nepal online tournament organizing
website whereas in global context there are already websites like Toornament, IGGalaxy,
Battlefy and so on.
While selecting an organization one has to make sure that the organization they are going to
select will provide them all the experience they want to achieve because the nature of the
Organization plays crucial role for every single intern. An intern has to make 360degree
evaluation such as would the organization provide me adequate information, chain of command
and organization hierarchy etc. before selecting any organization. While searching I found
Wolves Tech Nepal Pvt. Ltd would be great for me to start my Internship and acquire the
experience I am seeking for.
While Applying for this organization I applied through their official email address and
requesting for internship. After a week and half after the email I send I received a call and went
for an interview and on the same day I was selected as an intern and Assigned to Operating
Department.
16
During the entire period of eight weeks of internship, intern was able to work in every sectors of
the company. The activities I have done within this week are show below.

learn how seniors dealt with the customers.
Day 16 to Day 23 With the help of seniors started replying the customers through social media and
other platform like discord.
Made phone call to provide update to customers.
Day 21 to Day 35 Started working on my communication skills. With help of seniors and
Colleague Started working on some projects like Nirman Sansar, Library
Management system and learned how to find bugs and glitches in website.
Day 36 to Day 45 WTN started a New project named Wolves Fixture. So from the beginning
started taking part in that project and helped the organization through client
handling, social media handling organizing events etc. Also did research for
competitors for the new projects.
Day 46 to Day 50 Continued working on the project name WolvesFixture Looked into different
website made by WTN and looked for Bugs and Glitches and reported to Web
developer.
Day 51- Day 56 Continued with the new projects and simultaneously did client handling, Social
media handling.
(Weekly)
The Roles and Responsibilities assigned as an intern are mentioned under following points:
18
1. Discover the bugs
2. Report to web developers
3. Research Competitor websites
19
Instagram, Discord, Skype etc. As a Intern I replied the queries and
provided information to customers through Social Media. I also Update the
Social Media of WTN in every two to three days.
Marketing:
Marketing is the activities or action of the business so that it can promote
sell their products and services, including research and advertising. It
company do not have well develop market in Nepal. The exact range of
marketing activities done by IT and their market size are not well
researched and documented. Even though the city areas company is
familiar with developing websites, the rural areas company is not. WTN
target audiences are the business person and small or large organization as
in this generation every company needs a website because of which they
can develop their company more. As a intern I was also involved in
marketing activities and advertising through pamphlets, Social media and
Newspapers etc.
20
Initially, understanding the working mechanism of Website was a tough challenge as an intern
and as BBA student. I worked and looked under different website made by WTN. From Panning
to delivering most of the work is complex under the Website making. I would like to provide an
example of a project I worked in detail with WTN members i.e. was Wolves Fixture. How does a
website take place and how it works? Unlike other normal websites, WolvesFixture is website
with dashboard which had different patterns of data entry and maintenance. Data were stored in
the server.
The theoretical knowledge I obtained from my studies played vital role in dealing with clients
and making reports. WF combines best features of webapp for its best features and
functionalities especially designed for eSports in Nepal.
WF featured user friendly interface and multi-functional system to players and organizers to use.
A single package of the webapp could be used and operated by players and organizers for
different purposes.
21
New Technology
Challenge
Technology advances rapidly this means users, managers at all
levels, and even competitors pressure IT staff to implement new
technology, simply because it is new. The real challenge is
deciding which of these new technologies will work to the best
interest of advancing the organization, and which are better to
avoid for now. I.T. management must evaluate the organizational
value of each new tech advancement to determine when and if it is
a good fit.
Storage
Challenge
Pricing
22
Challenge
I.T. companies are often not sure on how much to charge client for
the project. Some companies tend to charge lakhs for the same
product while smaller companies does that same project for couple
of thousand. There is no comparing bar to set the minimum and
maximum price.
The actual scenario was not about project, rather ineffective price
planning and pre planning on price tag of features. Research on
other company pricing was done to compare and set own pricing
menu.
The theoretical knowledge I learned how to handle customer, how to deal with them
and while facing the customer in real life and dealing with them were totally different
I learned that every organization divide different department and work in different
departments but Wolves Tech Nepal had only one head office and everyone worked
in one place.
Since the departments were not divided, it was very hard to realize what was I learning
and for which department and functional area was I working for?
The process for communicating with the customers were only through social media and
sometime in person. So explain the customers about the updates through message only
were tough.
Since Intern was new to Information Technology work finding bugs and glitches were
also hard in the beginning.
23
Explaining the technical terms to customer were also tough.
CHAPTER 5
24
CHAPTER FIVE
AND RECOMMENTATIONS
The eminence growth of IT sector in Nepal is much better compared to other sectors in the
country. Information Technology (IT) benefits the business world and it permits associations to
work all the more effectively and to amplify profitability, etc. In business, individuals search for
approaches to accomplish more work in a more limited measure of time and it ought to be just
conceivable through the improvement of Information Technology. Quicker correspondence,
electronic capacity and the insurance of records are benefits that IT can have on our venture. IT
is driven by the requests of the new, serious business climate from one viewpoint and significant
changes in the idea of PCs in the other.
WolvesFixture, product of Wolves Tech Nepal aims to serve valued customers through quality
and advancement of its services throughout the nation and widely providing its services through
the largely extended network to all the esports players and those are willing to expand esports
business in Nepal. It tries represents a milestone in cooperative history of Nepal by introducing
many innovative services and marketing concept in the esports sector and measures customer
satisfaction as a focal objective of doing business.
25
During the 8 weeks of internship period I got an opportunity to gain practical exposure to the real
business world and specifically in IT organizations. And moreover it helped to enhance personal
skills and capacity to develop managerial skills.
I knew what it is to work in organizational work settings which taught me following valuable
information:
• Customers are hard to deal and comes with different queries, so proper and frequent training is
required.
• The technologies should be updated as the existing technologies are slowing the processes
5.3 Recommendations
There are few recommendations to the company which I feel to be improved after spending 8
weeks as intern at the company. These are as follows:
Either number of workers should be increased or the number of client should be limited
Establishment of effective communication and training procedures between different
departments
WTN has to proper marketing and advertisement.
During my internship, company was so busy handling client their own website is not up-
to-date due to which I could not gather more information about the company [WTN]
26
As a whole, internship was interesting and memorable. Thus, the internship report summarizes
all those internship experience.
