1. You should give your patient IV-Antibiotic Ceftriaxone 1,5 g, diluted in (ad) 100 mls of NaCl 0.9%.
The infusion should be given within 30 minutes, what is the infusion rate ml/h?

2. You should administer 3000 mls of Normal Saline within 24 hrs. What is the infusion rate mls/h?

3. The concentration of the IV-medication is 0,4 %. The patient receives the medication 30 gtt/min.
(1ml=20gtt). How much medication will he receive in one minute?

The infusion is going 15ml/h.
a) How much Fentanyl will the patient receive in one hour (mcg)?
B) How much Naropin will the patient receive in two hours?

0.9%. How many ml/h and gtt/min will you infuse to your patient, if he should have 6 IU per
hour?

14. Your post-operative patient has been prescribed antibiotic, Metronidazole 500mg/100ml ready-
made bottle, 3x/24hrs. At what times will you administer the medication? The antibiotic should
be given in 20 minutes. What is the infusion time ml/min and ml/h?

18. Your patient has been prescribed 4 mg Morphine for postoperative pain management. The
medication is in 20 ml vial, Morphine 2%. How many ml will you administer to your patient?

19. You should administer 2500 ml of Normofundin 5% infusion fluid to your patient over 16 hours.
What is the infusion rate ml/min?
