Oracle Cloud Application mandatory major release happen quarterly. They are represented by
the release letter and year. For first quarter of 2021, OAC version is 13.21A

Before each quarterly release, readiness

material is available to prepare. Includes :
• New Features for the module collection
– New functional features, mandatory
• Opt In features
– Features that you can enable when
ready
• Opt in expiration
– Those features will become mandatory
• Common and User experience

You can choose from 3 cycles of quarterly updates:

• January/April/July/October

• February/May/August/November

• March/June/September/December

By default, non-production Oracle Cloud environments (e.g. training, quality, etc.) are
updated on the first Friday of your quarterly update month. Production environments are
updated on the third Friday of your quarterly update month.
