Puji syukur penulis ucapakan kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa atas berkat dan kasih
karunianya yang selalu menyertai penulis sehingga dapat menyelesaikan tugas critical
journal review dengan baik dengan tepat waktu. Laporan ini dibuat untuk memenuhi tugas
mata kuliah English Specific Purpose dibingbing oleh bapak Haryanto, S.Pd.,M.Hum

Saya menyadari bahwa laporan ini masih jauh dari kata sempurna,karena masih
banyak kekurangan dalam penyusunan laporan ini.namun,demikian saya sudah berusaha
semaksimal mugkin untuk menyelesaikan laporan ini degan sempurna.untuk itu critik dan
saran yang sifat y membangun ssangat diharapkan dari pembaca.

CHAPTER. I PREMILINARY
In the teaching and learning process, sometimes teachers overestimate the need for
English to their students, while students show a lower need for English. They may think
that English is not necessary for their future career or social life. Based on this, students are
given English for Specific Goals (ESP) lessons. ESP aims to motivate students so that they
know the importance of English in accordance with their field of study. To maximize the
learning process so that the expected results are expected, prior learning planning is
required. Meanwhile, before planning the lesson it is necessary to analyze the student's
needs first. This needs to be done so that the material / lessons received by students
actually receive what is needed.

B. the purpose of a critical book review


1. Explain the meaning of ESP, the development of ESP in the teaching and learning
process.
2. Readers can know and understand the meaning of ESP, the development of ESP and the
goals of ESP.
3. To make it easier for students to learn English.
