Camera Specification/s:

The use of the DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex), mirrorless, and compact digital cameras is
recommended.
If the use of mobile phones is unavoidable, please follow these important instructions:

 Set the camera to its highest image resolution.

 Use the back camera for the pictures to be taken since the front camera usually has a
lower resolution (image quality) than the back camera.

 Do not use any filters and auto-adjustments from your mobile phones and cameras
Wardrobe and Make-up:
For Females:

 School Uniform

 You could put on some light make-up. Make sure you're wearing the right amount of
make-up and not too much.

 Do not have multi-colored hair. As much as possible, the hair color should not be too
bright.
For Males:

 School Uniform

 Appropriate haircut (with respect to the formality of the occasion, with proper length of
Sideburns).

 Avoid having a beard or mustache.

Distance to Subject, Background at Lighting:

1. Use a white background for the photograph. Ensure that there is a sufficient space between
the subject and the background (at least ½ meter away from the background to avoid
having shadows).
2. Enlist the help of your parents or siblings in taking the photograph.
3. You may use ring lights to have sufficient lighting for the face. Bright light can also be used.
4. The camera should be at least 4 feet away from the subject. To avoid facial distortion, use a
normal zoom angle instead of wide angle shot.
5. The subject should not wear eyeglasses (or anything that can reflect light) when the shot is
to be taken.
6. The subject should stand straight, with their hands to the side.
7. Since this is a formal photograph, avoid making faces while having the photograph taken.
