1. What particular professional standards in the PPST do you need to focus on to effectively
use the LDMs in relation to the content and pedagogy of the learning area/s you are
teaching? Write your answer and other insights in your Study Notebook.
I think the particular professional standards in the PPST I need to focus on to
effectively use the LDMs in relation to the content and pedagogy of the learning area I am
teaching are the Learning Environment and Curriculum and Planning.
Under the Learning Environment, it demonstrates the following:
 Exhibiting effective strategies that ensure safe and secure learning environments
to enhance learning through consistent implementation of policies, guidelines,
and procedures.
 Exhibiting effective and constructive behavior management skills by applying
positive and non-violent discipline to ensure learning-focused environments.
Under the Curriculum and Planning, it demonstrates the following:
 Developing and applying effective strategies in the planning and management of
developmentally sequenced teaching and learning processes in varied teaching
contexts.
 Working collaboratively with colleagues to review the design, selection,
organization, and use of a range of effective diagnostic, formative, and
summative assessment strategies consistent with curriculum requirements.
With the kind of learning delivery modality that will be implemented, the teaching-
learning condition of both teachers and learners should be prioritized at this pandemic.
Likewise, the utilization of operative strategies and positive conduct is crucial. Furthermore,
the continuity of learning of the learners should be provided along with appropriate teaching
strategies. This will become successful when your co-teachers are encouraged to apply a
peer or team teaching to meet expected learning outcomes.
