Emergency admission.
Now days, many people go into hospital as a result of accidents or sudden illnesses. These patients are called
emergency admission. The patient who get accident, heart attack, asthma attack and the baby with high fever
will come to emergency department to get immediate treatment. They are often seriously ill and need
immediate care and attention. They are usually taken to the casualty and emergency department by an
ambulance,they often unconscious. They are examined carefully and the necessary emergency treatment is
carried out, such as : chest / abdominal X-ray, CT-Scan, MRI, blood drawing, infusion etc. And If the patient
need surgery, they will be prepared for operation then be brought to operating theater. If the patient become
more serious, they will be hospitalized in I.C.U or C.V.C.U. and if the patient need regular hospitalization, so
they will be sent to wards only. Sometime they are companied by friend, relatives or family who are able to
supply a list their personal particular.
We use the past simple to talk about actions or situations in the past.
