Backup Process Flow

1. The commserver server initiates the scheduled backup process and communicates with the media agent to allocate resources to the backup job. 2. The client scans the data to be backed up and generates a list of files. 3. The backup job then runs, backing up the data to the library while the index is finalized and stored in the library.
