INSTRUCTIONS are below (click the tab at the bottom of the screen to access the Project Status Report Template)

1. Delete the sample data.

2. Add your specific details as required. The columns are:


A - Ref No - allocate a unique number
B - Tasks and deliverables

C - Plan start date
D - Plan end date
E - Actual start date
F - Actual end date
G - Completion Status - click cell to choose status
H - Owner responsible for task
I - Assigned to
J - Notes

If you wish amend the 'status terms' the instructions are:


1.       Amend your ‘status terms' in cells F67-F70 – or extend the range for more terms.
2.       Click cell G6 (or any other ‘Status’ cell)
3.       Then select the ‘Data’ tab - then in Data Tools, select ’Data Validation’- then Settings and check that the Source is: =$F$67:$F$70 - or
whatever the range is for your different statuses. Then click ‘OK’
4.       Then click cell G6 scroll tab to test out your different status options.
5.       If they are correct, then copy and paste to the other ‘status’ cells.

If you wish to amend the Red/Amber/Green status colours, the instructions are:
1.       Click / highlight cells
2.       In the 'Home' tab, select Styles, then Conditional Formating - then select 'Highlight Cells Rules, then select 'Equal To' and amend the
conditions and colours.

The worksheet is completely flexible. Rows and columns may be resized. Data may be amended. Additional worksheets may be added.
