I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
Describe the different types of volcanoes and volcanic eruption.
Explain what happens when volcanoes erupt.

III. Procedure
A. Preparation

B. Motivation
The tutor will give different words which are the types of volcanic eruption and
will show pictures from the laptop of the different types of volcanic eruption and
the student will identify each picture using the given words.
C. Lesson Proper
The tutor will discuss what a volcano is and its characteristics, such as the shapes,
size and each structure, as well as the types and history of volcanic eruptions. He
will also discuss how the volcano forms, what triggers it to erupt, what happens
during an eruption and the after effects of volcanic eruption.
D. Application
The student will respond to an activity titled "Volcano in the Philippines."She will
use the Philippine map and plot the location of the list of volcanoes in the
Philippines that are shown in the activity.
