ANNUAL PROGRAM ACTION PLAN

SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL COORDINATOR
SY 2020-2021

I. Program Title: “Action Plan Senior High School”

II. Objectives:

 To orient the Senior High School students about the guidelines of Work Immersion Program

 To aware the Senior High School students about the problems they may encounter on their

Work Immersion Program

 To aware the Senior High School students about the importance of Work Immersion Program

III. Target Respondents: Grade 12 Students of SMCC

IV. Location of the Program: Catbalogan City

V. Timetable: January 2021 – May 2021

VI. Rationale:

The Philippine educational system has been developed to provide the learner's the best. Our

curriculum system was changed from the basic 10-year education system to more accessible one-

the K-12 curriculum.

Moreover, as part of the guidelines given by Department of Education (DepEd), senior high

school students are required to conduct the Work Immersion Program. It refers to the part of the

Senior High School (SHS) Curriculum consisting of 80 hours of hands-on experience or work

simulation which the Grades 11 and 12 students will undergo to expose them to the actual workplace

setting and to enrich the competencies provided by the school under the supervision of the School

Head and the designated personnel of the Partner. This immersion program provides opportunities to

the students with the relevant skills by performing in actual work setting. It helps students to

acquire knowledge and experience that can help them grow as professional individuals. After

conducting the said program, the students are expected to produce the same products that regular

employees produce.

On the other hand, there are issues that this program might take danger to the students.

Since they are just minors they should have the consent of their parents. The school shall ensure that

all the venues for learning are safe for the learners. The maximum number of hours has been also a

problem to students.

VII. Expected outputs/outcomes:

In the Work Immersion Program of the next batch, the students are well informed about what

are the important things to do when conducting a Work Immersion Program. They are having the

good experience of working with their co-workers and managers. They meet most of the expectations

of the company. And at the end of their Work Immersion Program, their skills are thoroughly

enhanced.
