1. Learn Docker and Containers


i. Install Docker in Linux machine
ii. Download sample Docker image
iii. Run container and expose to internet
iv. Access the application from internet

Manual Car Driving  v. Create new Docker file


vi. Use Docker file to create custom image
vii. Create new Docker repo in hub.docker.com
viii. Note the new Docker repo name
ix. Convert the custom image to match new Docker repo compatibility.
x. Push custom Docker image to Docker image repository
2. Learn Azure Container instances, Azure Container Registry
i. Create Container Registry

Cloud Car Driving  ii. Download Docker image.


iii. Prepare custom image w.r.t Azure Container Repository
iv. Push custom image to ACR
v. Launch AZURE standalone containers.
AZURE DevOps – Docker/Kubernetes

1. Learn Kubernetes and deploy application in bare metal k8s cluster


i. Create k8s cluster in 3 node lab setup (1 master & 2 worker node)

Manual Car Driving  ii. Create new Name Space


iii. Download sample yaml playbook to deploy application
iv. Deploy sample application and expose it to internet

2. Learn Azure Kubernetes Service


i. Create AKS cluster
ii. Configure kubectl CLI

Cloud Car Driving  iii. Retrieve the credentials and validate


iv. Download sample application
v. Use kubectl cli, Deploy sample application into AKS cluster.
vi. Verify the azure service and get the public ip
vii. Access sample application in browser
