Speech:- (Why do I want to be a teacher?

)
Every teacher devotes his or her life to education for reasons as individual to them as any other part of
their identity. Still, it usually isn’t the money, and it isn’t the three-month summer vacation. Reasons for
becoming a teacher are deeper than that, and while they are personal, they are almost all united by the
desire to impact peoples’ lives. There is a demand for great teachers in this country, and a person is
called to become a teacher in response to that need. So, what’s calling you? Why do you want to teach?
In my point of view there are alots of reason why am I want to be a teacher.
First and foremost, to Change the Lives of Students.Teachers do more than teach, and their impact
extends far beyond the classroom. As a teacher, we are more than just an educator: a mentor, a
confidant and a friend. One of the most common reasons to become a teacher is to make a difference in
the lives of as many students as i can. Taylor Mali, a renowned poet, education advocate and former
teacher, describes this impact in his spoken word poem, “What Teachers Make .” He says, “I make kids
work harder than they ever thought they could, I make a C+ feel like a congressional medal of honor, I
make an A- feel like a slap in the face ... I make parents see their children for who they are and what they
can be ... I make a difference.”
Teachers have the potential to interact with students at all stages of development and from all walks of
life. A great teacher wants to help students along this path and to play a part in shaping the person they
will ultimately become. As a teacher i want to help a child struggling with low self-esteem and problems at
home, then become a teacher to encourage them and help them realize their potential. Becoming a
teacher lets us impart life lessons that they will never forget and puts us in a position to influence their
decisions, behaviors, strengths, weaknesses and imaginations. Essentially, becoming a teacher lets us
take part in shaping the next generation.
In additionally As a teacher, we are required to keep students engaged in the learning process and this
calls for our own creativity. As mentioned before, no student is the same so we must come up with
creative ways to make sure every student is learning and isn't left behind.Teachers are encouraged to
reach out to kids in today's world. We've seen some recent creativity with teachers who rap their history
lessons, come up with personalized high-fives for some of their students, or even performances that go
viral! Talk to the students. What do they like? What engages them? Add in some creativity and watch
them learn. Its also one of the reason y am I want to be a teacher.
Moreover ,One of the reasons for becoming a teacher is to contribute to our community in a meaningful
way. Teaching is one of the most direct ways to make an impact, and if we are driven by the desire to
help those around us, being a teacher is an invaluable contribution.Perhaps we grew up in a high-needs
area and are personally connected to the struggle of students who come from low-income families and go
to schools with little funding; this sort of perspective allows us to recognize how much of a difference a
devoted teacher can make. Maybe an amazing teacher changed our life when we were younger, and we
want to share that with a new generation of students. Many people cite a favorite teacher as a source of
inspiration in their decision to pursue a career in education.
School administrators and government officials have an impact at the legislative level, but it is teachers
who have a direct effect on students in the classroom that is, after all, where learning takes place. We
won’t be able to improve the quality of education for every students, but we will be able to form our
students. Helping just one student is worth it, but over a long and productive career, i have the chance to
help thousands of students.
Finally, in my point of view the dream of success motivates me to study is not for my success, my future
students’ success. I push myself through the rough spots for them.  As a future teacher ,I am committed
to helping my students succeed, achieve more, and continue onto higher education. Every child should
be given the opportunity to showcase their strengths and follow their dreams. I met some inspiring
teachers in high school who encouraged me to change my life and who helped me . Without them, I
wouldn’t be where I am today.
I plan to work at a low-income school similar to the one I attended. These types of schools are the ones
who lack resources. I will serve as a resource to my students and I hope to be an inspiration to them. In
turn, I hope they become kind, respectful adults. I want them to see the virtue in helping others and I
hope they will serve others in their future careers. I want to be the teacher they remember. I want to be
the teacher that helped them succeed.I’ll feel successful as a teacher if my students are successful in
attaining their goals. If one student decides to achieve more then I will have lived out my dream.
