TECHNOLOGY IN TEACHING 2

1. If an Inquiry-Based Teaching is considered to be beneficial for the learner’s


development, how would IBL affect the teacher’s professional attributes?

It truly helps the teacher to broaden a discussion since the class is being
interactive and also they attain more experience by answering the different kinds of
questions that the students are asking, also they will develop their field of expertise
since they will have to discover more ways on how to teach to the students without
compromising the quality of the lesson that must be taught to the students.

2. In this time of distance learning and anti-socialization protocols, as a teacher how


would you implement or execute a Project-Based Learning approach that will require
collaboration between the students?

It will engage every students they can make a group chats where in the will be
able to have proper communication even though they are apart from each other and
also it will enable them to discuss the projects that must be submitted without the need
of meeting face to face. In the 21st century it really matters because we are surrounded
by developed technologies that really part of our everyday lives, therefore it gives every
student a way where they could collaborate and gather for studying purposes.

3. How do Open-Ended Tools alleviate the teacher’s pedagogies in teaching their major
subjects? Provide an example situation.

When the teacher ask a questions for her?his students, it could get some ideas and
information that could be his/her another learning for strategies. For example when a
student provides his/her own understanding for a particular questions, the teacher could
make it a tool for his/her teaching pedagogy.

4. In today’s education set-up in the Philippines, digital divide has been a common thing
in every school or educational institution. As a secondary teacher, how will you utilize
ICT in you learning plans knowing that not all students are equally capable of using ICT
devices, applications, and internet access?

As a secondary teacher, my priority is to teach my students fairly, therefore, I will


teach and give my extra time to the students who are not capable of using ICT in order
to have enough knowledge for using ICT and utilizing new literacies.

5. Do a self-exploration of the different applications or web-based programs in the


internet. What do you think could be the best tool for a teacher in Filipino / Social
Studies use to present lessons?

As I have experience and learn as a 21 st century student, Google meet and


Power point presentation are good enough for presenting a lesson, because power point
presentation has a lot of effective and productive tool itself that could make the
presentations very clear and colorful for everyone. While Google meet could be a place
for assembly and session wherever you are, and purpose for collaborative learning.
