PERFORMANCE
Expanded Perlite
150 mm
ArmaGel HT
For a defined linear heat loss target ArmaGel HT 30 mm
can provide:
• Up to 80% saving on insulation thickness
• Up to 50% savings on metal cladding. NPS 6 inch
• Reduced pipe spacing, allowing for a smaller plant
DN 150 mm
footprint.
572ºF / 300ºC
• Reduced system weight, leading to fewer pipe
supports and metalwork. Mineral Wool

HOW ARMAGEL COULD HELP YOU TO SAVE COST IN THE LONG RUN?
www.armacell.com/oilandgas
// WHEN YOU NEED ARMAGEL?
ALL YEAR ROUND MAINTENANCE
• ArmaGel can be installed during the daily maintenance work, turnaround and new projects
development.
• Most of the plants world-wide spend huge amount of cost trying to solve corrosion-under-insulation
(CUI) problems n their pipeline, tanks and other assets. ArmaGel helps to mitigate this issues but not
other conventional insulation materials.
• Areas which is prone to have corrosion-under-insulation problems are pipelines operating at
temperature from 5 to 175 °C, spheres, traced heated pipelines, storage tanks, distillation units,
delayed coker, hydro treater, alkylation units, isomerization units etc.
