Twilight

“I’d never given Much thought to how I would die....” the quote comes from the first book

out of 4 of The Twilight saga. Twilight is about this girl named Bella who’s Moved to this new

town with her father and has meet two men who become very important in her life. In the novel

twilight (italicized) Stephenie Meyer pulls the audience in by telling the story through Bella’s

point of view. Which helps the reader relate to Bella’s through her deep feelings as well as her

intriguing thoughts.

When reading the book Twilight right from the beginning you will learn that the book if from

Bella’s point of view. You read about how she’s feeling, what she’s thinking when not talking

out aloud. Like for example, “I want to go” I lied. When reading this in the book it’s showing

how out loud, she’s making people believe she’s wanting to go but really in her head she’s

thinking something completely different but doesn’t want to upset the person or people. Also,

when she’s thinking about someone or something without telling someone about it or even that

person. Like in the book Bella is talking to Edward who she is starting to fall in love with. As

they are talking, he whispers to her. “I smelled his cool breath in my face. Sweet, delicious, the

scent made my mouth water.” when reading this in the book we are learning how attached and

how she is falling in love with Edward without reading in the book about her telling him how she

feels about him.

Another reason why it’s so amazing why the book is in Bella’s point of view is because it

helps us to really relate to Bella threw her deep feelings and her interesting thoughts. While

reading the book you get to connect with Bella and feel how she’s feeling, or can even relate to

something similar to that feeling she’s having. In the book Bella is getting ready to fly to meet to

go to her dads and she’s feeling a little nervous. “Flying doesn’t bother me; the hour in the car

with Charlie, though, I was a little worried about,” you can understand how she’s feeling when

reading this. You also could relate to it as well; you could have a time that you were going

somewhere or meeting up with someone you haven’t seen in a very long time and are feeling

nervous about it. We also get to experience when she is feeling sad and heartbroken as well.

Even though threw out the book she’s getting used to living with her father and meeting the

two most important people in her life she does face some heart-breaking things in the book.

Things are going well for Bella and Edward, until he decides to take her to play baseball with his

family and this other group of vampires stop by because they had heard them playing and seen

that Edward and his family had a human with them. Now it has become a big mess between the

two groups, with this being said Bella has to leave town but to be able to do that she will have to

hurt her father's feelings to get him to allow her to leave.

She finally gets to leave Edward can see how hurt she is and tell her to let him drive she says

“I can drive I said through the tears pouring down my checks” we get to reading about how hurt

she is and can understand and relate to the feeling of having to hurt someone to protect them or

even understand where she’s coming from. That even if hurting him is the only way to keep him

safe that what she will do.

So, you can definitely see how much the book Twilight by Stephine Meyers is very much

from Bella’s point of view. How you get connect with her and understand how she’s feeling and

thinking about things. Her thoughts are very different from other peoples and how easily

attacked she gets to others and how will she is to do something for someone without thinking

twice about it. The book is definitely an amazing love story about a human and a vampire.
