Starting

Windows :
startserver.exe -f RUN_<sid>

Drive: \usr\sap\<sid>\install\ASE-15_0\install
Unix

/usr/sap/<sid>/ASE-15_0/install

./startserver -f RUN_<sid>
Stopping

Login to isql and issue shutdown command

#isql -U<user> -S<System> -X


password:<password>

The default memory allocated to the data cache is 8MB, this is not sufficient
to run the production server.
To change the data cache use the “sp_cacheconfig” or “sp_configure”
