Let Us Learn

Hi, learning buddy! Today, just enjoy these listening activities.

Listening is a vital skill as reading, writing, and speaking. This would help to
improve your communication, critical thinking skills and understanding
about the texts you have listened to (EN7LC-II-a-6).

In this module are some fun and interactive ways to improve your
listening skills.

As you go through this lesson, you are expected to:

• express opinion based on the nationalistic song listened to through

“Listen and Note Making” activity;

• make predictions about the song through “Playlist: Play and Listen”
activity;

• respond to playlist icon by writing the needed information;

• listen and take note how to prepare adobo;

• identify the things to do before, during, and after listening to a text;

• evaluate listening social skills through answering the process

questions; and

• recognize the importance of listening skills.

Let Us Try!

Playlist: Play and Listen. One of the most powerful ways of

showing faith to our Almighty God is through a prayer. The singer of
the song “Heal Our Land” wants to share the song to the people to
remind them to pray.

 Before listening to the song, guess what the singer is

praying for. Make a list of your predictions.

 Then, listen to the song.

 As you listen to the song the second time, take down

words that catch your attention. Write words that may
represent the emotion expressed by the song.

Heal Our Land

Jamie Rivera

If my people will humble themselves

Humble themselves and pray
If they seek my face and humble themselves
And turn from their wicked ways
I will hear from heaven and forgive their sins
I will hear from heaven and heal their land.

Lord, heal our land

Father, heal our land
Hear our cry and turn our nation back to You
Lord, heal our land
Hear us oh, Lord, and heal our land
Forgive our sin and heal our broken land

Lord, we vow our knee, we humble ourselves

Humble ourselves and pray
Lord, we seek your face and humble ourselves
And turn from my wicked ways
Father in Your mercy, forgive our sins
Father in Your mercy, come heal our land

Lord, heal our land

Father, heal our land
Hear our cry and turn our nation back to You
Lord, heal our land
Hear us oh, Lord, and heal our land
Forgive our sin and heal our broken land

Lord, heal our land

Father, heal our land
Hear our cry and turn our nation back to You
Lord, heal our land
Hear us oh, Lord and heal our land
Forgive our sin and heal our broken land

Lord, heal our land

Father, heal our land
Hear our cry and heal our broken land
