SITE INSPECTION AND TESTING PROCEDURE

Vendor : Means a supplier of Goods and/or Equipment for the Facility and/or the
Works including related documentation and services, where necessary,
in connection with the installation, testing, commissioning and start up
support of any such Goods or Equipment.
PQP : Project Quality Plan
QMS : Quality Management System
CMS : Completions Management Team
QA : Quality Assurance; Part of quality management focused on providing
03 confidence that quality requirements will be fulfilled.
QC : Quality Control; Part of quality management focused on fulfilling the
quality requirements.
ITP : Inspection and Test Plan
ITR : Inspection & Test Record
RFI : Request for Inspection
SQM : Site Quality Manager
Nonconformity : Non fulfilment of a requirement
NCR : Non-conformance Report
Verification : Confirmation by examination and provisions of objective evidence that
specified requirement has been fulfilled.
In-process : An inspection to verify the conformance of in-processing products to
inspection the specified requirements by qualified inspector.
Final inspection : An inspection to verify the conformance of complete product to the
specified requirements by qualified inspector.
Hold Point : Mandatory point in the sequence of inspection for which relevant
parties shall be notified. An inspection point in the manufacturing and
construction cycle beyond which work must not proceed without the
specified activity, work, or function being witnessed. (EPC Contractor
shall not commence activities designated as Company hold points in the
absence of Company’s nominated representative or without Company’s
notification that the activity may proceed in Company representative
absence.)
Witness Point : Point of which the relevant parties shall be notified, and work shall not
proceed until required inspections and tests have been witnessed. (EPC
Contractor may proceed with activities designated as Company Witness
points in the event that Company representative is not in attendance)
Spot Witness : It shall be performed under witness of the EPC Contractor’s QC
Inspector with notification to Company. However, Company reserves
the right to witness the inspection at any time.
