The document describes two situations involving user testing of computer systems. For the first situation, icons for a spreadsheet package will be tested with various types of users to measure the speed, accuracy, and clarity of icon recognition. Representative tasks like printing, formatting, and creating charts will be examined. The second situation involves testing a group decision support system used by a law firm. Representative legal tasks will be evaluated using a cognitive walkthrough with solicitors, assistants, and clients. Measurements will focus on the accuracy of information, audit trails of discussions, and potential for screen clutter or confusion. Both evaluations will involve having participants complete tasks while experts observe and provide feedback.

Which means, how fast the participants is able to find out the right icons

 Accuracy of recognition
Mening how precisely the users or the participants can recognise the icons involved
in spreadsheets

 User-perceived clarity
It means that how well the user is clear about each of usability of each of the icons

V. Demonstrate outline plan for carrying out the evalution

Evaluation made by testing all the participants involved with many examples of icons

 Confusion that due to participants speak one at a time in alternating turns

V. Demonstrate outline plan for carrying out the evaluation

Evaluate by having experts walk through the system when performing tasks. If there
are any alteration or correction should be made, the experts commenting is a must
