How to promote your YouTube channel

1. Use great titles
Short and to the point
Descriptive keywords
2. Use clear YouTube Thumbnails

Guest appearances
Making a collaboration video together
Guest vlogs
Exchanging mentions

3. Interact with your audience

When subscribers pose questions or concerns, reply promptly and thoroughly.
Never leave someone who has taken the time to give you feedback or ask you a
question, hanging.

4. Create playlists
YouTube playlists are a great way to help your users easily find and share your
videos. In a playlist, as soon as one of your videos stops playing another one
begins. If a viewer watches one of your videos that is not in a playlist then they
have to make the choice to click and watch another one of your videos.”
Create a custom list of videos that reflect your brand voice and are relevant to your
industry, and encourage your audience to share.
5. Include calls-to-action
You can use your call-to-action to encourage anything from asking users to share
your videos to having them ask questions. The possibilities for a call-to-action are
endless, and will do wonders for your video promotion efforts.
6. Promote your YouTube channel on different networks
Make sure you include a link to your YouTube channel on your other social media
networks, your website, your email signature, and your blog (if you have one).
Share your videos and other relevant YouTube content on your social media
accounts as a way of building and extending your community outside of YouTube.

According to YouTube, tagging is one of the most important ways to rank your
video in YouTube search results: Tags help users find your video when they search
the site. When users type keywords related to your tags your video will appear in
their search results.
Example: If you own a London taxi firm your tags would be taxi, taxi firm,
minicab, taxi heathrow airport, book london taxi ..

Software

We will cover what equipment you need to set up your

YouTube channel and record your videos so that you can make
money.

Whether you are serving plumbing services or eBooks or

you’re interested in horses or airplanes make videos about
your niche and then you can join Google AdSense and if
someone clicks on the advert on your YouTube video you get
paid.

So this is the mic I use, it is the HD version very important IK

Multimedia iRig mic HD it’s got to be the HD handheld
microphone for iOS and Mac.
People get confused you can you can use this with PCs so it’s
got to be the HD otherwise you’ll be buying the wrong one.

Yes the Mic is compatible with Windows PC. Okay, so it is

compatible. Very important. With this Mic, it’s fantastic I use
it to record everything it’s really brilliant.

What you also need as well is a Pop. This is a pop filter.

This goes in front of the mic so that when you are speaking or
recording your videos you don’t hear that sort of “pop, pop,
pop” with your voice. So that’s very important.
Another thing you will need is a desktop microphone stand.
Choose what you want there’s many available, Desktop
Microphone Tripod Stand.

Another thing you’ll need is the headphones so you’ll need

something like this.
The other thing you’ll need is Screencast-o-Matic it’s free. 15
minutes per video you can record everything. So up to 15
minutes per video it’s free.

It’s so simple to use. I’m using it now. This is what I use for
my YouTube and Udemy courses. You just click the record
and off it goes. Basically, you’ve got 15 minutes free
recording. That’s the free version, Screen and Webcam
Recording, Publish to YouTube. It’s so simple. And save as a
video file. It’s really, really, great and easy to use.

LIVE STREAMING CHECKLIST

Set up encoding software
Before you can start streaming on YouTube, you need to
download encoding software and then set it up. Learn about
Live Verified encoders in our Guide to Encoding.
You may need to use the server URL and stream name/key
below to configure the encoding software.
Add stream info
Enter an interesting title and description, and then upload a
thumbnail image.
If you’re live streaming a video game, include the game title to
help new fans find you
Optional features
You can use different features to enhance your streaming
experience.
Select Low Latency in Stream Options to allow for faster chat
interaction.
Enable Monetisation and add a Fan Funding card to start
earning revenue.
Use the Share options to post about your stream on social
media.
Go live
To start streaming, start your encoder. The status bar will
indicate when you’re live.
To stop streaming, stop your encoder.
When your stream is complete, a public video will be
automatically created and uploaded for your fans to view
later. Find out more.

So once you’ve been a new arrival for a while it could be a

day it could be two days, could be a week then what happens
then you get views by people who will buy your gigs. Typical
gig could be something like an Intro video.
Let’s have a look at some more, “promo video for your mobile
app”, $25. So that’s another gig. $25, and basically if you
want it one day faster you can charge $40 more, “include full
HD” $10 more. So there, $25 gig goes from 25 to 35 to 75 so
you can earn some good money on Fiverr.

You just have to have patience and keep trying. And you will
get from new arrival, you’ll get to someone who’s
recommended so you will quickly have 10 gigs then 39, 43,
180, gigs bought from you so you can quickly build up your
income using these type of gigs.

Other type of gigs you can provide: Create subtitles for 10

create an ANIM video, create a caption or subtitle of videos on

So that’s one way you can quickly start to you earn money
with YouTube.

agree to monetize their videos and Google puts these AdWords
on their videos and then when people click on the ads with
google pay-per-click that’s what happens, they get a
percentage of the earnings from Google AdSense. So that’s
another way to earn money.
Lecture 22: YouTube + Get Traffic to Your Website and
Blog

Offer something up for free like an eBook crash course

video/audio download to encourage people to go to your
website and opt in to your email list. Or 50% off your next
product/service. The offer must be directly related to your
video.

So if your video is about losing stomach fat then your eBook

crash course video or audio download must be about losing
stomach fat. At the end of the YouTube video, you need to tell
people what to do, how to do it, and why to do it.
Use cards to link to your website and add a graphic to support
your call to action.

Use an external link annotation, which links to your website.

Use a link to your website in the first two lines of the

Description box.
Create a video advert about your business to appear at the end
of your video.

Create a Call to Action overlay when you spend just a dollar

with YouTube advertising. Then they will give you the ability
to create a Call to Action overly.

Basically what you’re doing is you need to promote using

YouTube as an affiliate marketer so you can do YouTube
reviews about affiliate products on video or create your own
how to use this product tutorials and you need to link your
products in your YouTube descriptions.

Make sure your using your affiliate link when you do join
Amazon or any of the others so that’s a really good way of
earning money with YouTube and doing these product
reviews.
Lecture 26: YouTube + Create Products and Promote them
on YouTube

Here we go another way to make money from YouTube. If

you’re creating your own products or would like to, YouTube
offers a great way to promote your products and make sales.

For instance, this video. Now, let’s say this guy has made this
and he’s going to sell these screwdrivers. Then he’s made this
video to promote this tool kit which he’s manufactured.
And he’s put his link here, to his website, and his FaceBook.
So he’ll get sales from this. This is one way to promote your
products or any future product you are thinking of making. So
you need to add a link to your product in the video’s
description here. He’s at 18,000 views which is very good.
Lecture 27: YouTube + Test-Market your Products

So YouTube is another major resource for market research.

You can soon discover whether you’re brilliant innovation is
likely to be profitable. For example, you’ve got an idea about
diabetes destroyer.

This little video here tells you to find out more and people
here are given a link and people can comment underneath
about what they think about the product.
“ I really love this one I will give diabetes destroyer a try.”

You don’t need to spend a lot of money you can test the idea if
you haven’t got a lot of funding create some videos before you
create a sort of massive .com campaign reviews and comments
you get tell you whether the idea is viable in its present form
and you’ll get ideas and comments from people. Don’t forget
about a link here to get some sales when you do launch the
product.

Hi its Nick Walsh and we’re in YouTube channel. What we’re

going to do now is arrange funding for myself to get paid for
videos I do. And here we are on my channel, we need to go
top right.

We’re up here, click create a studio for your account. Come

Click. Basically, what we’ll need here now now is status of

The United Kingdom is supported for you to fan funding. So
this is what you have to do. Your payout schedule will be on
the 25th of every month for the previous months’ worth of
transactions.

So people, If they think your videos are good enough they will
be paying you and you will get paid on the 25th of each month.

Fan funding is only available in some countries as at January

2016 but more will be added soon. These are the countries at
the moment: Australia, France, Spain, Japan, Mexico, United

Basically you can have whatever you want, it’s only your time,
a little bit of money you might have to spend. YouTube limits
your show to 50 minutes but you can increase the limit if you
ask.

So if you are a frustrated TV or screen writer get a few friends

together, record your own TV show you never know you could
make a lot of money from it.

And the adverts that appear on your TV show will mean that
you get paid for it very nicely, and maybe you can quit your 9-
5 job in months from now.

Lecture 39: How to Make Good Quality YouTube Videos

cameras will do for head shots. Make a camera stand out of

microphone.

Write down your script. Practice several times and then by the
third or fourth attempt, you should be quite good.

Make sure you have good lighting if shooting in doors. Do not

try to be perfect with your videos. I’m really pleased you’re on
the course and making great progress. Please keep going
towards your goals and take action and you’ll be there sooner
than you think.

This is one of my YouTube videos and the headline is

“WordPress web design and add video to home page”.

This should be the name of your video file, which will help
your rankings and get you top rankings on YouTube.. So name
the video file “WordPress web design and add video to home
page” before you upload any videos to YouTube. You should
name it so the video file is the keyword or key phrase that
people search for online.

So you need to do this before you upload any video to

YouTube. This will help you get onto page one of YouTube
fast.
In the description box you need to repeat the headline and the
name of the video file. “WordPress web design and add video
to home page”.

That is in the description, you need that at the start. Then you
can write what the course is about or whatever your subject is
about.

So WordPress web design you can put in things like

WordPress 4.4 version, WordPress, Beginner WordPress
courses.

So if you’re selling something like plumbing or widgets you

talk about widgets or plumbing, whatever your subject is.

Very important as well that you don’t spam because YouTube

is very intelligent. It will know if you keep repeating
WordPress this, WordPress that, WordPress, WordPress,
WordPress, WordPress, WordPress, WordPress. It will just not
rank your YouTube videos and you might get banned.
All of the videos you have on that subject. So the subject of
this video is WordPress. And I’ve got other WordPress videos.

Vine is very easy for YouTubers. You just pick 6 seconds of

your video and post it there.
Also, use FaceBook, Twitter, and Instagram. Post videos that
are engaging, funny, happy, unusual, clever. So that you get a
following fast and when they like you they will view your
normal videos promoting your business.

Audio makes a huge difference in video. Make sure your mic

is the same distance from your mouth for all videos. Make
sure you are using the same volume settings for all of your
videos. Make sure that you have no background noise.

bulk updating.

zone. I recommend accepting all the options so that you can
get as much help from Google as possible to make the fastest

channel to see where your visitors are coming from and you

button. Click channel. Click Advanced and enter your tracking
