WIPRO
Wipro Limited is an Indian multinational corporation that
provides information technology, consulting and business
process services. It is headquartered in Bangalore,
Karnataka, India. In 2103, Wipro separated its non-IT
businesses and formed the privately owned Wipro
Enterprises. Wipro has shifted to work from anywhere
model since March 2020.
History:
The company was incorporated on
December 29th, 1945. In Mumbai by Mohamed
Hasham Premji as Western India Vegetables
Products Limited, Later abbreviated to Wipro.
It was initially set up as a manufacturer of
Amalner, Jalgaon, Maharashtra, under the trade
names of Kisan, Sunflower and Camel.
In 1966, after Mohamed Premji’s death, his
son Azim Premji returned home from standard
university and took over Wipro as its chairman
at the age of 21.

substance whatsoever.
To buy or otherwise acquire any oil or manure, mills
or factories situation either in india, Ceylon or
elsewhere and all property business and rights in
connection therewith.
To sell or dispose of for cash, or on credit or to
contract for the sale and future delivery of, or to send
for sale to any part of india or elsewhere, all the
articles and things and also all other products or
produce whatsoever of the company.
